Kim Caron

Registered Psychologist

I am a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists and have over seven years of experience supporting adolescents and adults of all ages through a wide range of life's challenges. I am passionate about helping individuals build resilience, strengthen self-awareness, and create meaningful, lasting change while fostering a deeper sense of self-compassion and personal empowerment.

I understand that reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, and I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel safe, heard, and respected. I believe that healing and growth occur when individuals are provided with a supportive space to explore their experiences, gain insight, and develop practical tools for navigating life's challenges.

I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, relationship difficulties, separation and divorce, grief and loss, trauma, PTSD, ADHD, stress management challenges, emotional regulation difficulties, boundary-setting concerns, and women's health issues. I recognize that every individual's journey is unique and takes a collaborative, client-centered approach that is tailored to each person's specific needs, goals, and strengths.

Drawing from both evidence-based and holistic approaches, I integrate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Client-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT/Tapping), mindfulness and meditation practices, and Animal-Assisted Therapy. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing and I work alongside clients to find strategies that best support their growth and well-being.

A strong advocate for self-compassion, I help clients identify and move beyond limiting belief patterns that may be impacting their well-being, empowering them to recognize their strengths, build confidence, enhance emotional resilience, and create lives that align with their values and aspirations.

Whether clients are navigating a difficult life transition, processing past experiences, strengthening relationships, managing stress, or seeking greater balance and fulfillment, I am committed to providing compassionate support and guidance every step of the way. My goal is to help clients not only overcome challenges but also discover their capacity for growth, healing, and lasting positive change.
